Still Thinking of Buying a Home in 2025?

If you are still thinking about making a move this year, a few things to think about:

1. It is predicted from various financial sources that interest rates will not fluctuate much this year.  Interest rates will probably range between 6.2% to 6.9%, keeping it below 7%.   There is still uncertainty in the market, so this is still subject to change. 
   
2. Helping new home buyers is on the platform of the new federal government administration.  They plan to reduce mortgage rates by slashing inflation and opening certain portions of Federal Lands for new home construction.  If this is achievable, it can help solve the problem we have today – there are not enough houses on the market to meet the current buyer demand. 
   
3. The incoming administration also plans to promote homeownership through tax incentives that support first-time buyers, and they also plan on cutting unnecessary regulations that raise housing costs. 

If these things can be accomplished quickly, it can help minimize the current crises we are having – not enough houses for current buyers.
